Disciple of St. John Zeda Zfleli and abbot. A native of Syria, he served as abbot of Alaverdi in the area of modem Georgia.
Abibo Joseph is the name of a saint from Alaverdi. He is mentioned in Bessarion's The Saints of Georgia. His feast day is celebrated on September 15.[1]
